The distillery says "This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then married and finished in hand selected Cognac casks from France. This process of 'finishing' creates a beautifully rich, complex and full-flavoured single malt"
