We do not disclose personal information to third parties unless it is necessary to complete a purchase e.g. to our delivery agents. Some personal information is collected when purchasing or registering. This information is collected so that we can contact you with offers unless you request us not to, and so that we can deliver orders.
We take every step to keep your information secure. Data such as credit card details are encrypted and held by our payment agent SagePay and not by us.

Payment can be made by debit or credit card including American Express.
We Operate as a retail seller and the items we sell are intended for personal use.
6. Follow Up and Order Tracking
Once an order is placed we will email you to update you on progress and supply you with tracking details for your order where appropraite.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight of the product transalted into an estimate of the number of bottles and the destination address. We ship to most countries, although delivery of alcohol related products to certain countries such as Canada and Sweden is prohibited. (If you choose to have an alcohol related product delivered to an address in Canada we unfortunately cannot guarantee delivery). Please note that to certain destinations we ship bottles individually for speed and safety reasons.
For the safety of your bottle, and to keep postage costs down, we do not normally send the outer cardboard packaging with the bottle, if you particularly want this enclosed please email us at the time you place your order. However, some bottles have special presentation cases which we will send.
All countries are VAT free except those that are part of the EU.
Please note that our couriers require a signature on delivery. If this does not occur then full responsibility for the delivery, and any liability arising from it, is with the customer. Some examples where this might occur but not limited to are: waiving the requirement for a signature with the courier; instructing the courier to leave the delivery outside your property; and delivery to a communal delivery point in the building where your property is.
8. Returns Policies
Please check your purchases carefully when you receive them. If you are unhappy with products purchased we will happily refund your money, or exchange the products if you inform us within 7 days after the day following the delivery of the goods. In this event, the products must be returned to us in good condition. We may require proof if goods are damaged. Unfortunately we cannot pay for the delivery charge of unwanted products.Any product returned must be adequately packed to avoid any possible damage.
While we have endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site, we cannot guarantee or give any warranty as to the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any information or material on the web site. Prices and specifications can change without notice and products are subject to availability. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Age Restriction
By using our website you are confirming that you are of legal age to purchase alcohol in the country in which you reside.
Supply is usually reliable for most products. Should a product be unavailable, we will inform you.
12. Taxes and Duties
Whisky, beers and other products sold at whiskyshopdufftown.co.uk are subject to UK taxation. If we are sending products to an address within the European Union (EU), prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). If we are sending to an address out side the EU, we will not charge VAT, however you may be liable to local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country. It is the customers responsibility to check with their countries import regulations and to comply and pay these duties.
