Description
The distillery says "This Is the first time that we have experimented with Pomerol casks in our cask exploration series. Pomerol is home to some of the finest and most sought-after red wines in the world and is the smallest of all the major Bordeaux wine appellations. The Versatile Port Charlotte spirit has been profoundly influenced by the flavour of the oak, with notes of black cherry, plum and aged leather."
This single malt was matured in first fill bourbon barrels in 2013 and matured for 4 years. In 2017, the spirit was re-casked into Pomerol casks and matured for the next 5 years. Phenol levels 40PPM

| Distillery: Warm peat smoke and red fruits open on the nose, moving to stewed pears, melon and a subtle marine note. Delicate floral notes of rose and geranium follow, with hints of vanilla, honey, leather and toasted oak coming from the wood.
