
This Linkwood was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 from a combination of 4 bourbon barrels then finished for 18 months in 2 French Oak Sauternes casks which produced 1123 bottles. Sauternes represents the sweeter side of Bordeaux and is made from the regions rare white grapes. It makes an exceptional dessert wine and has a particular affinity for oak and will age for several decades.
The Morrison family describe this as having "A medley of tropical fruit and spice, with warming cinnamon and ginger."

This 2010 Vintage has been matured in both ex-sherry butts and ex-bourbon casks for over 9 years. It is a vatting of 45 casks - 42 fresh bourbon casks and 3 Oloroso sherry butts. The distillery says 'This Vintage has been bottled at 48% to accentuate the powerful flavours of peat smoke, dried fruit and herbaceous spices and a long clean finish.'

The distillery says "This Is the first time that we have experimented with Pomerol casks in our cask exploration series. Pomerol is home to some of the finest and most sought-after red wines in the world and is the smallest of all the major Bordeaux wine appellations. The Versatile Port Charlotte spirit has been profoundly influenced by the flavour of the oak, with notes of black cherry, plum and aged leather."
This single malt was matured in first fill bourbon barrels in 2013 and matured for 4 years. In 2017, the spirit was re-casked into Pomerol casks and matured for the next 5 years. Phenol levels 40PPM
