Description
This charming single malt is unequivocally inviting, with a wonderfully gentle taste making it quite distinct from other Islay whiskies. For nearly two decades this wonderful "uisge beatha" absorbs the sea air that surrounds the distillery.
What The WSD thinks: Sweet chutney on the side of a ploughmans' lunch dabbed with oloroso. Much more powerful in the mouth. The oloroso has taken over the chutney and dried it out giving intensity, heat and depth.

Finish |
Distillery: Its story ends very happily, with dry notes interspersed with mixed spices fading magnificently into a light salt and sherry finale. |
