Description
This Glenrothes is part of an exclusive collection of whiskies which have spent more than two decades in American oak then been finished in casks which formerly held some of the world's most coverted wines. This particular whisky was distilled in 1992 and matured until 2014 in hogshead casks. Having rested in these casks the distillery then introduced it into an American oak butt formerly containing Oloroso sherry from Bodegas Lustau a famous Spanish sherry producer. It is bottled at cask strength and is one of only 648 bottles.
