Description
This Craigellachie is part of a series of 13 Years Old whiskies finished in barrels that previously matured spirit condensed in a worm tub condenser. First matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, then rested in Bas-Armagnac casks, for just over a year. The distillery describe this as "baked apples dusted with cinnamon and notes of caramel shortcake are offset by signature syrupy pineapples and fiery bonfire night aromas. A contradiction in a glass."
