Description
This Port Ellen was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2017 from refill American Oak casks. It is part of a release of 2988 bottles.
Tasting Notes

| Distillery: Light yet complex, the nose shows malt and ripe fruit. but against a coastal backdrop, before forest floor aromas and smoked meats wreathed in scented wood smoke combine as if to form the lost memory of a woodland banquet. |
| Taste |
| Distillery: Very smooth on the palate, more so with a little water, the taste is sweet and spicy, with hints of ginger and spiced peach. |

| Distillery: The long finish is warming, smoky and aromatic; smoothly drying and lightly waxy. |
