This limited edition 25 Years Old Glen Moray was distilled on 18th September 1987 and bottled on 5th November 2014 and is one of only 3295 bottles. The Port Cask Finish is only ever released in small handcrafted batches after spending over 25 years in the finest Bourbon casks then finished in Port casks

| Distillery: Experiencing the aroma of this fine whisky is an occasion in itself. The flavours engulf the senses like Scottish mist rolling in over the hills. Layers of vanilla oak are interspersed with sweet aromatic wine, a truly wonderful combination. Dried fruits with a hint of cinnamon spice emerge later. A beautifully balanced and mature nose.
The WSD: Sweet cocktail cherries, marzipan and icing sugar, Flumps(marshmallow sweets) and candid orange peel. A nose you can sit and take in for ages. (V) Taste Distillery: The initial toffee caramel sweetness is a joy to behold. Warming rich and hugely satisfying. The taste experience continues with port infused candied dried fruits coming to the fore. The degree of complexity is outstanding, every sip takes you in a slightly different direction. 25 years in the finest ex Bourbon casks delivers spice and body whilst the finish in Port cask yields complexity and incredible depth of flavour. The WSD: Sweet and spice engulf you at once, smooth with mixed candied peel and Christmas spices that linger, Christmas cake covered in a thin layer of marzipan and a thick layer of royal icing. Beatiful. (V) Finish Distillery: The finish is a trip down memory lane. The subtle sweetness slowsly disappears only to be replaced with spice, dates and figs. The flavours lingering on the taste buds are a wonderful reminder of what came before. A truly unique whisky which has matured to perfection. The WSD: The lingering warmth and soft spices leave you feeling like it's Christmas all over again sitting by the fire content and happy not wanting it to end. (V)
