The distillery says: "Loch Lomond 12 Year Old single malt uses a combination of whisky from our unique straight neck pot stills and more traditional swan neck stills. Aged in American Oak casks, to create the signature fruit, honey and soft smoke style only found in Loch Lomond single malt whisky. This perfectly balanced expression is brought together by Michael Henry, our Master Blender, and has delicious notes of peach and pear layered with vanilla sweetness and a gentle hint of smoke on the finish. Aged in three types of American Oak casks - Bourbon, Refill and Recharred."

The Distillery say this Inchmoan 12 Years Old single malt is born from a combination of malt whiskies from their traditional swan neck pot still and unique straight neck pot still to create an unconventional peat character with a lot of depth marrying smoke and spiciness.
It is matured for 12 years in a mix of recharred American oak and refill bourbon American oak casks giving sweet vanilla background notes that compliments the soft peat style of Loch Lomonds unique set up.
