Tasting Notes
Nose |
Adelphi: An intriguing and quite interesting nose: Pata Negra ham with fresh figs and a sprig of rosemary becoming gradually more fragrant, possibly tarragon. |
Taste |
Adelphi: To taste, it is quite thick and oily, a hallmark of Benrinnes, with roast chicken skin and some very vivid fruity notes, in particular new berry fruits. A hint of white pepper emerges with a drop of water and this is apparent in the taste which is sweet overall. Good acidity and unusually salty for this make. |
Finish |
Adelphi: The unctuous mouthfeel helps the fruity/oily combination continue into a long and satisfying finish. |
