Description
This Adelphi Bowmore was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2015 from a refill ex-sherry hogshead which produced 304 bottles.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| Adelphi: Immediate charred sticks with recently extinguished barbeque and leafy bonfires, this is quite nose-drying with traces of hemp rope and hessian. The smoke becomes more fragrant with time, and blossom notes appear, with salted rum and raisin, raspberry vinegar and roasted salty walnuts. |

| Adelphi: The taste mirrors the nose - immediately ashy and smoky, becoming more gentle with a lovely fruity sweetness, just a hint of the sea and cherries on an open fire. |

| Adelphi: The finish is long and warming, plenty of lingering smoke from a steam engine. |
