Description
This Private Collection Glenlivet from 1963 has all the tropical fruit you would expect from an older Bourbon cask whisky but it also has a surprising amount of herb garden aromas as well. Amazing. From a first fill American Hogshead which produced 223 bottles.

G&M: Perfumed, with tropical fruit notes, watermelon and passion fruit. Some toasted oat notes linger, with some milk chocolate and hints of freshly cut hay. |
Taste |
G&M: Fresh with herb and lavender notes. Hard boiled sweets and hints of aniseed also present. |
Finish |
G&M: Delicate notes of honey and vanilla on the finish. Soft, elegant and seductive drinking. |
