Description
Lochlea is an independent, family-owned distillery in the heart of Ayrshire. The distillery say 'Harvest Edition is the second in an annual series of limited seasonal bottling's and is from Port, 1st-fill Oloroso (Miguel Martin), 1st-fill Bourbon (Makers Mark) casks. Only 9000 bottles are available globally "
The team at the distillery also say ' Lochlea Harvest Edition reflects the end of summer, when our golden barley is ready to be harvested and eventually used for next year's production. We've chosen a coral red label to reflect the Ayrshire soil, which changes colour to a deep, sunset hue once the barley has been harvested."
