This is the sixth release of the Glendronach Cask Strength and is a combination of whisky matured in ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
|Distillery: Warming, peppery oak combines with orange chocolate, sugar-coated almonds and ripe figs.
WSD: Fresh berries on freshly laundered towels. Spiced blackcurrant coulis. Blackcurrant boiled sweets.
|Distillery: Golden sultanas and yellow plums balanced with a rich barley character. Intriguing hints of dark chocolate appear alongside a classic back note of dry cedar wood, adding great complexity to the long palate.
WSD: The taste has a sticky sweet fruit pickle.
