Description
This Adelphi Glen Garioch was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2015 from a first fill Spanish Oak ex-Sherry Butt which produced 562 bottles.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| Adelphi: A dry nose overall, as you would expect from such an active sherry cask, with Oloroso sherry to start, giving way to saddle soap and old leather books with Mr Sheen polished mahogany in the background. |
| Taste |
| Adelphi: Sweet and mouth-filling, lightly oily (macadamia nuts), and some bitter dark chocolate in the finish. With the addition of a little water, it becomes more fatty with salt water taffy covered in chocolate. |
