This Rare Vintage Glen Grant 1953 was distilled in 1953 and bottled in August 2006 from first fill and refill sherry casks.
Tasting Notes
Nose
G&M: Aromas of ripe oranges, polished hardwood floors and old leather. Some heathery notes develop along with a touch of menthol and vanilla.
Taste
G&M: The palate is very fruity - juicy ripe oranges along with dark chocolate, toasted malt and a developing smoky edge.
Finish
G&M: A smooth long finish with a menthol note remaining
