Tasting Notes
Nose |
Adelphi: Old desks, cigar boxes and worn leather initially, and then the fruits begin to surface: mango, sticky date pudding. Turkish delight are all there.
The WSD: Fresh, leafy and earthy, leather school satchels, alongside very watery coffee with a hint of pineapple. (V) |
Taste |
Adelphi: Plenty of figs and plums, gingery with sherbet and cocoa powder. It becomes quite tangy and then minty, leather and wood notes return.
The WSD: Very spicy and fresh, warming maple syrup, spiced mango chutney and refresher sweets. (V) |
Finish |
Adelphi: Lingering caramac bitter coffee on the long finish. |
