Description
Maverick Drinks say "What, you may ask, is a Wormtub? It's a beautiful bit of traditional distilling equipment that consists of a long copper coiled tube ("worm") submerged in a "tub" of cold water that turns vapour into spirit. Worm tubs impart a more distinctive, robust flavour compared to shell and tube condensers more widely used in modern distilling. Just 18 worm tubs remain in use in Scotland today.
Wormtub is a ten year old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a secret distillery that maintains its traditional method of condensation, and is finished in sherry casks before being bottled at natural cask strength. 100% old school with no added caramel colouring and no chill filtration"
