This masterclass will be full of surprises as Independent Bottlers, Kate and Mark Watt, return to Dufftown where it all started (or was that Japan, or Campbeltown?). We are very lucky as they will both be hosting this tasting in person.
Kate and Mark say, "Our Philosophy is fairly simple – it’s all about the taste. Hence why we’ve chosen a stylised taste bud as our logo. We want to bottle good whisky (and rum) that people will want to drink, at a fair price. In fact, we want to bottle what we like to drink. When we are literally putting our name on the bottle it needs to be something that we really have confidence in."
If you are a driver attending this event, we have 2 options for you:
- We can provide you with sample bottles to take the whiskies away with you and enjoy at a more appropriate time. Please email us at the address below if you require sample bottles, after you have booked your ticket.
- If you do not want samples then you can attend for free. Do not book a ticket for yourself but please email us to let us know which group you are coming with and the details of their booking.

This event is aimed at educating guests about whisky. As such the samples served will be approximately 15ml. This is less than a pub measure.
