The distillery says: "Our Talisker 41 Year Old whisky is expertly finished in Manzanilla Casks from one of the world's finest and oldest Sherry producers, Delgado Zuleta. These seasoned casks impart a rich, rounded and intense flavour, influenced by the region's proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
A 1978 Vintage, our oldest and most rare Talisker 41 Years Old whisky from the wild, western edge of the Isle of Skye. It maintains its familiar maritime and spicy character, but has been reinterpreted with the flavour profile of old." This is 1 of only 2000 bottles produced. Bottled at 50.7% after being finished in former Manzanilla La Goya Casks, as part of the Bodega Series
