Description
The distillery describe the Cask Strength 10 Years Old Batch 14 as 'Emphatic, full bodied and utterly unforgettable. The whisky's rich flavours come through as never before because the whisky has not been chill filtered.' This whisky has aged for ten years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength.

| Distillery: Sweet and spicy, with burnt oak staves, barbecued marshmallows, toffee and sea salt, vanilla and Belgium caramel waffles. Roasted coffee fudge cream on sticky toffee pudding, with a hint of white pepper and crushed cinnamon. |

In the 19th century, Scotch whisky was frequently transported across the Glens in quarter casks. Laphroaig today breathes new life into the tradition. Still-maturing whisky from standard ex-bourbon barrels is transferred to quarter casks and left to rest in the warehouse just a stone's throw from the Atlantic shore. This increased oak contact creates a soft and velvety edge to compliment Laphroaig's distinctive peatiness.
