This is the 3rd house release of 23 Years Old Kininvie single malt from 1991 and is only available in a limited batch. This unique distillery, founded on just six copper stills has remained a local secret, until now. A delicate and floral whisky with hidden depths, Kininvie has been nurtured with loving care over three decades, by just a handful of men. This batch is from a mixture of hogshead and sherry butts
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| Distillery: A rich and vibrant aroma with ripe fleshy fruit notes overlaid with creamy vanilla-toffee sweetness. A subtle floral leafy flavour with light summer blossom notes develop over time.
The WSD: Peach melba with syrup and light demarara sugar, fading to a light hint of mahogany smoke. (V) |

| Distillery: Beautifully soft and mellow with a luxurious silky texture. The rich vanilla oakiness resulting from 23 years of maturation gives an incredible depth of flavour and sweetness. Woody spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves are layered with zesty citrus and candid orange peel.
The WSD: An initial spicy hit fading to dark demerara sugar over sour cherries and ginger. (V) |
