Tasting Notes
Nose |
WSD: Sweet, very dark and intriguing. Thick treacle over crushed raisins in an oak panelled room and a touch of hessian. All takes you to a bodega on a warm summer's day. |
Taste |
WSD: So rich and mouth-coating. Now we are off to a Konditorei. There's blackcurrant, dark cherries and dark chocolate - Black Forest gateau with a hot chocolate. There's no denying there's a hearty kick, Muscovado and lots of spices which bring to mind long hot nights in the Caribbean drinking well aged rum. |
Finish |
WSD: Initial dry, then sweet and so very warming and frankly it does not stop! |
