Description
In a departure from their typical heavily sherried style, J & G Grant have released this Glenfarclas which has been matured for 31 years in a Port Cask. The cask, laid down in 1981 and bottled in July 2012 at 42.8% vol, yielded 480 bottles which are exclusively to the UK and French markets.

Distillery: Very fruity and sweet with a hint of the exotic with aromas like beeswax, cloves, ginger and exotic wood. The oak influence starts to come through too. |
Taste |
Distillery: Exotic/tropical fruits, wood and spicy notes develop. Lots of complexity. |
