Description
The distillery say that 'To craft the GlenAllachie Wine series, we first expertly matured our spirit in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Subsequently, the whisky underwent additional maturation for almost two years in wine barriques, imparting a distinctive twist onto the classic GlenAllachie spirit. This golden blush malt obtains its subtle summer berry, honeyed character from meticulously selected Rioja barriques of Spanish oak, with a medium level of toasting.'
This is a limited release of only 1280 cases.
