Tasting Notes
Nose |
Distillery: Initially very soft, evoking sweet ripe pears, green apples and fresh cut grass. Lively and vibrant with background hints of camomile tea.
WSD: Treacle toffee, molasses, treacle tart, cinnamon buns and a touch of cinnamon on warm pastry. |
Taste |
Distillery: Notes of clean fruit are soon enveloped and eventually give way to drier oak spices. A luxurious mouthfeel entices you back in for more where you find some of the herbal tea-like characteristics that were present on the nose.
WSD: Mixed sweet spice, warm treacle tart, rum soaked sultanas and rum baba. |
Finish |
Distillery: Long & lingering with savoury, almost salt flavours as expected from Manzanilla. |
