Description

| Distillery: A big, crisp, dry and very aromatic nose with hints of heather and peat.
The WSD: Hints of maple and sherry wood mingle together. Sweet wood and mushroom risotto becoming pineapple and pear in a wooden bowl. (M&V) |

| Distillery: Smooth, soft and lasting flavours of heather, honey sweetness and vanilla followed by deeper citrus-fruit flavours and hints of malted bread.
The WSD: Candy sweetness. Oak sawdust, spiced pineapple chunks becomes clementine liqueur. Macerated opal fruits with a touch of wax.(M&V) |

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is only distilled from spirit made between October and March. Dalwhinnie believe that 'as the snow falls and the air is sharp with frost, the cold copper intensifies their liquid and it's rich deep character unfolds. When the winter grows colder, their liquid becomes gentler and warmer.'
