This is latest release in Bruichladdich’s “uber-provenance” range and is unpeated. The barley is grown on the Dunlossit Estate.

Bere is thought to the be original species of Barley used in whisky production, having been brought to Scotland by the Norse in the 9th century.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Distillery:  Green fruits - gooseberries, apples and pears.
Taste
Distillery:  A honey-soft texture with rich and malty sweetness and great depth.
Finish
Distillery:  A gentle dryness with a hint of oak. Honeysuckle.
