Description

The distillery tell us 'Distilled in Badachro in the north west Highlands of Scotland, Badachro Gin is a reflection of the pure air, water and land that defines this unique and ancient land. Marrying traditional botanicals with hand picked wild myrtle, local gorse blossom and elderflower, the delicious taste of the last true wilderness is now bottled for you to enjoy.'

Suggested Serve: On it's own as a sipping gin or with a premium tonic water, ice and a slice of lime. A sprig of wild myrtle adds greatly.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Distillery:  The aroma evokes thoughts of a floral summer meadow with wild myrtle dominating, juniper in clear evidence and a slight citrusy sweet fruity end note.

The WSD: Lemon and lime with elderflower blossom following and a slight minty note. (V)

Taste
Distillery:  In the mouth, it's tremendously smooth, with juniper and myrtle dominant at first, a hint of liquorice coming through to combine with the coriander which then gives way to a fresh, slightly sweet lavender & light citrus finish.

The WSD: The mint is foremost now with a very slight blackcurrant note. Fresh and vibrant with lemon and lime juice at the end. (V)
