| Adelphi: Immediately you are aware that this is a "fruit bomb", with fresh, citrus notes - sweetened lemon juice, acid drops boiled sweets - then apricot jam (possibly on buttered crumpets!), strawberries, blackcurrants and more forest fruits. |
| Taste |
| Adelphi: Very sweet to taste, with excellent acidity and slightly spritzich. Water produces pear drops and lemon sherbet sweets; the taste is now softer and less acidic. |

| Adelphi: A mellow finish. A fine, fresh malt, mellow with age but fresher than you would expect. |
