WSD's Comment: Initial heady dark chocolate and fruit compote. Rum and raisin. Floral perfumed notes back by toffee. The sherry notes are pronounced in this expression give lots of notes of jam and fruit cake.
The Aberlour A'bunadh is matured in hand picked Spanish Oloroso sherry casks filling them with whisky for the first time. A'bunadh means the original in Gaelic because every bottle is made as it would have been 100 years ago.
