The distillery says "Inspired by the Orkney Island’s history, character and beauty, Aatta - meaning 'eight' in Old Norse is distilled an impressive eight times with eight botanicals. To our knowledge, our Aatta Gin and Orkney Akvavit are the only spirits hand crafted in the UK distilled this many times, creating a silky-smooth spirit.
The final distillation is achieved over a lengthy 24 hours+ with eight whole botanicals (another key feature making this gin utterly delicious) including fresh zesty oranges, hand-picked rose hips, bright juniper, and a little whole vanilla for a long smooth finish."

This Original Gin from Eden Mill in St Andrews is made with sea buckthorn, which thrives on wild untamed coastlines. The distillery says "Original Gin is our take on a classic London dry – with a twist. Our St Andrews distillery is on a particularly tempestuous Scottish coastline, so we were inspired to create our first gin using sea buckthorn berries, an exceptionally hardy superfood that thrives in harsh, salty, coastal conditions. The unique tart berry flavour is abundant but we balance the gin around it using citrus elements drawn from the other botanicals, such as lemon balm and citrus peel."
Perfectly served with a premium tonic and a slice of grapefruit.

The Distillery say 'Originally made with foraged shoreline botanicals, Seaside Gin was the first of our collaborations in partnership with Heriot-Watt University’s Brewing and Distilling MSc course. We sourced marine plants including scurvy grass, ground ivy and bladderwrack to create a gin with distinctive minerality. These are complemented with aromatic spice notes from grains of paradise, coriander and cardamom.
Bottled at 43% ABV, Seaside Gin makes for a bracingly refreshing G&T, and perfectly garnished with a sprig of green samphire in summertime. Alternatively, try a Seaside Martini with olive and anchovy garnish to create a pleasingly briny drink.

In 1736, during the reign of George II of England, an annual levy of 50 pounds, known as the 1736 Gin Act, was imposed on those wishing to produce and sell gin. Only two distilleries agreed to pay this tax. Fifty Pounds Gin is distilled in single batches, produced in small quantities. The distillery say that the careful selection and a perfect combination of its natural ingredients give this Gin an exceptional smoothness.
