Persie Sweet and Nutty Old Tom Gin

The distillery say: For a cracking flavour, you need a rousing aroma. Persie Gin hits your sense of smell right up front. Just pull out the stopper, close your eyes and breathe it in. The botanicals include Juniper, vanilla, almond and ginger. To serve they recommend: Try this after dinner instead of a liqueur. We like to stack the glass with ice, pour over the gin and hear it crack. Or if youre a good mixer who likes a good mixer, add a splash of ginger ale for a perfect digestif.

The Lakes Gin

The distillery say "The Lakes Gin is lovingly hand crafted in our small copper pot still. Juniper can be found across the fells in The Lake District and we use this local juniper as the very heart of our gin. Using classic gin botanicals augmented with others native to The Lakes - including bilberry, heather and meadowsweet - this is an artisan gin which is complex, intriguing and delicious." The gin has 15 botanicals in total and the distillery recommend you put this in the freezer for a short while before serving.
