This jura has been matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels. The whisky is described as being a refined balance of rich fruit and gently smoky notes.
In Norse mythology, Beyla was the goddess of bees with a strong connection to the earth. Kirkjuvagr say that 'At Orkney distilling we share her bond with the land growing our botanicals here in the island, where the influence of the Norse gods can still be felt. We've added Orcadian honey to our legendary Kirkjuvagr gin to create this special spirit in homage to the goddess. Fresh Scottish raspberries bring extra fruitiness and colour, while balancing the sweetness of our island honey.'
Recommended serve: light indian tonic and plenty of fresh raspberries. For a sweeter note use lemonade instead of tonic.

The distillery says: "Our 10 Year Old is the original Laphroaig. A distinctive character that still holds true to the spirit of Ian Hunter, who first created it over 75 years ago. That bold, smoky taste followed by a hint of seaweed, with a surprising sweetness and long finish, has made Laphroaig the pinnacle experience for Islay single malt."
Old Pulteney 12 Years Old is matured in hand selected American ex-bourbon casks. Over the years, the casks gently absorb the northern sea breeze, giving the whisky its smooth, complex flavours and coastal character.
This medium bodied single malt is aged for 12 years in oak casks.
