Pol Roger Brut Reserve, 'White Foil', is the definitive house style, composed from a large number of still base wines (including a minimum if 23% reserve wines from previous vintages) and the three Champagne varietals blended in equal proportion: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. This wine is left to age for a minimum of three years in the deep, cool Epernay cellars. Although ready to drink upon release, cellaring for a few years will reveal greater depths.
This release comes in a limited edition Pol Roger Brut Reserve gift box to celebrate the paintings of Sir Winston Churchill. The design pays homage to, and unites, two of Churchill's greatest passions: painting and Champagne Pol Roger. Pol Roger was Sir Winston's champagne of choice, supplied to wherever his engagements demanded from what he described as 'the world's most drinkable address', 44 Avenue de Champagne, Epernay. The friendship between the Churchill and Pol-Roger families endures to this day."
