Description
The Springbank 12 Year Old edition, matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, always bottled at cask strength, is a wonderfully balanced dram that boasts a smooth buttery body and rich fruity palate. Add a drop of water to release milk chocolate and vanilla notes.

| Distillery: A range of aromas: Marmalade - Orange zest, zingy, honeycomb and highland toffee, hints of liquorice and mint chocolates, raisins, nuts, sultanas and liquorice. Let it breathe to reveal a true Springbank style.The WSD: Sticky toffee from a pencil box on the nose. Freshly baked sponge cake. Cooked strawberries - the bottom of the jam pan. (M) |

| Distillery: Very robust & mouth coating, subtle hints of white pepper, raisins, figs, linseed oil and a touch of papaya. Grassy and zesty as the nose suggests. Perfect balance of sherry and then vanilla and oak flavours.The WSD: The palate at full strength is very chewy and heavily baked. Apple skins and a bitter edge. Water smooths things.
