This Caol Ila from Cadenheads was distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2016 from 2 bourbon hogsheads which produced 432 bottles.

Cadenheads: Sweet peat smoke; roasted peanuts and coconut. |
Taste |
Cadenheads: Great balance of sweet and creamy smoke. Toasted marshmallowand strong cocout notes with a slight spiciness coming through right at the end. |
Finish |
Cadenheads: Again superbly balanced and tasting smokybut not over drying. Slight creaminess and toasted sweetness. |
