Description
The distillery say they were inspired by the long summer evenings, and decided to create a refreshing and aromatic gin especially for summer. In Shetland, Simmer Dim is the name for the long days in summer where the sun barely dips below the horizon before soaring high for another day. These lasting amber skies gave us the inspiration for our limited edition Simmer Gin, released for World Gin Day 2016.
Simmer Gin has an ABV of 49% and is made with seven botanicals including orange peel, orris root powder, liquorice root and caraway seeds as well as more customary juniper berries.
Seving Suggestions: As always this works great with tonic but for an extra special twist, try with Fevertree Sicilian Lemonade and a sprig of fresh rosemary. You'll be lounging in a citrus grove in no time!
