Rock Rose Gin seasonal editions take hand foraged botanicals found in the Highlands from each season, to create a truly limited edition gin. The Rock Rose Gin is made with botanicals which include: Bulgarian juniper (gives lemon sherbert notes), Italian juniper (gives a real warmth and depth to the flavour of the gin), Rhodiola rosea (rose aroma and adds a delicate floral note to our gin), Sea Buckthorn (fruity yet crisp), Rowan berries (a delicate flavour adding to the berryful taste), blaeberries, cardamon, coriander seed and verbena plus summer botanicals such as lemon balm, cover, lemon thyme, pineapple sage, meadowsweet and elderflower.
The distillery describe this edition as: A stunningly bare gin! Our hero botanical in the Winter Edition is spruce tips which Hanna, our gardener, collected basketfuls of in December last year. The Winter Edition has been created with thoughts of bracing walks, roaring fires and dark nights in mind. The original Rock Rose elements have been scaled down to allow the delightful pine, earthy notes from the spruce tips to shine through.
