Description
The name Oak Cross comes from the use of both American and French oak in the maturation of the whiskies. The blend is made up of 3 different highland single malts from the villages of Brora, Alness and Carron which start out in the American oak cask then a portion of the whisky is placed in cask made up of new French oak for the heads of the casks and American oak for the body.

C.B: Rich but well-mannered whisky, with fruity aspects that will remind you of baked apples or pears, complimented by a rich, toasty oak character.
The WSD: Light and fresh, turning slightly waxy and dry after. Orange sorbet with a milky coffee sprinkled with cinnamon on top. (V) |
