Description
This Gordon & MacPhails Scapa was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2013 from first fill ex-Bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
| Nose |
| G&M: Light and fruity with green apples, white grapes and sweet vanilla. A subtle smokiness develops. With water becomes fruitier with pears, apples and citrus aromas. A trace of cigar ash and vanilla. |
| Taste |
| G&M: Chili spices initially with grapefruit, a slight nuttiness and a lingering creamy milk chocolate edge. With water sweet vanilla and mild spices initially with tropical fruits and charred oak flavours developing. |
