Description
The Master Distiller has selected a limited number of port casks to finish maturing the Glenglassaugh single malt. During the second period of maturation he says 'the whisky interacts with the wood, adding an intriguing range of flavours and aromas specific to the port cask.'
Tasting Notes

The WSD: The nose starts with orange and lemon starbursts then comes notes of soft caramel and a fizzing characteristic (M) |
Taste |
Distillery: Vibrant pink grapefruit and blood orange give a fantastic fresh, zesty character. A slight herbal oak background leads to stewed barley.
