The Distillery says: "This gorgeous ruby red malt has been matured for over eight years in American Oak Wood Barrels. It was then re-racked into vintage, richly seasoned Ruby Port Wood Pipes, The Port Wood finish develops the flavour depth and complexity. Regular monitoring ensures we achieve the perfect balance between port and malt whilst preserving the whisky characteristics."

WSD: Quite light. Cherry blossom with lemon zest and light pepper notes. Dried cherries and cranberries. Very slight note of mint in the background. (V)
