The distillery says 'the Dalmore Port Vintage Collection showcases the special relationship the distillery has with winemaker W & J Graham's. The Vintage 1996 began as a complex assembly of spirits selected from American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finessed in A Vintage Colheita Port pipes reserved for Dalmore's exclusive use. The casks have held the port for over 30 years and are a perfect match for the Dalmore character, the influence of the rich, aged port wood creates a whisky which is indulgent, smooth and complex.'
