Description
This Macallan was distilled on 14 September 1992 and bottled on 8 January 2018 from a Sherry Butt which produced 190 bottles.
Tasting Notes
Nose |
The WSD: Deep, rich, sherry notes with mahogany. Macerated raisins in peach cobbler, dark cherries, plums and a slight hint of marzipan. Water brings out Garibaldi biscuits, hot cross buns and sticky toffee pudding. (M&V) |
Taste |
The WSD: The taste is even more intense than the nose. Hot and spicy, sweet sticky toffee pudding covered in hot marmalade. Raisins covered in dark chocolate and chocolate oranges. Water makes it more lush and heavy fruit cake. (M&V) |
