Description
This Adelphi Benriach 23 Years Old was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2014 and is one of only 320 bottles. This was drawn from a very rare (we have only seen this type of cask once before) refill South African sherry cask. The traditional Scotch whisky maturation casks are 190 litre, 250 litre and 500 litre vessels, but we estimate this to be about 300 litres originally.

| Adelphi: The nose is very creamy and quite unusual: Caboc cheese, with buttered scones and tea roses, strawberries in the development and a definite hint of Angels Delight. |
