Visit The Glenlivet Distillery with Manager Trevor Buckley followed by a tasting of a The Glenlivet Cask Strength Edition, a signed bottle of which will be given to you at the end of the visit. You will then have time to spend at The Glenlivet Open Day including a dram from the Sma' Still.
Enjoy a tour of the iconic The Glenlivet Distillery with the Manager, Trevor Buckley, followed by a dram. The Glenlivet Distillery established in 1824 became the quintessential ‘Gold Standard of Single Malt Whisky in Speyside and far beyond. During the tour you will have the opportunity to learn about the recent expansion of The Glenlivet Distillery which is now one of the largest in Scotland whilst maintaining the superlative and distinctive character of the single malt that started it all.
At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to taste The Glenlivet Cask Strength Edition in the Managers office beneath the portrait of Captain Bill Smith Grant. Bottled at 17 years old, this Cask Strength Edition has rich fruity flavours of ripe melon and peaches in syrup. Soft honey sweetness is balanced by smooth floral notes that cascade into a long effervescent finish. A bottle of The Glenlivet Cask Strength Edition signed by the Manager will be presented to you at the end of the tour.
After the tour you will have time to enjoy The Glenlivet Open Day. The Sma' Still will be running and you will be able to sample a dram from the still. This is a replica smugglers still and has always produced some of the most evocative memories and images of the fetsival in previous years. There will be live music, a craft market, a whisky quiz and much more. You will also be able to have a light lunch at the distillery although the cost of this is not include in your ticket. It's the complete package!
