Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair

Distillery Manager Andrew Brown says this Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair (pronounced stew-rahdur, meaning helmsman) is the distillery's tribute to the sea and it's influence on their whisky. Chosen from sherry casks of varying ages from different parts of the warehouse.

Glendronach 18 Years Old Allardice

This Glendronach is one of the biggest sherried whiskies in any distilleries standard range. Phenomenal layers of sherry trifle and stewed fruit. What the WSD thinks:  Softened summer fruits on the nose in a tin can with Toffo (chewy toffee sweet) resting on top.

Glendronach 21 Years Old Parliament

The new 21 Years Old is created using both Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez sherry casks, and takes its name from the parliament of rooks that have been nesting in the trees overlooking the distillery for almost 200 years.  What The WSD thinks: Intense raisin concentrate on the nose.  Fruit cake and cardamon on the palate, the fruit cake is very well done and baked oranges are added.

Once it has had time to breathe, the palate has warm spiced notes, stewed fruits and liquorice, while the finish is long and sweet with toffee apples and cinnamon sticks. '
