Depart: The Whisky Shop Dufftown
Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes
We start off by bus from The Whisky Shop Dufftown and travel to Aberlour Distillery for their Founders Tour.
This is an intimate tour for the true whisky enthusiast, personally conducted by an experienced Aberlour Distillery guide. After sampling an introductory dram in the VIP Fleming Room, you’re treated to a comprehensive distillery tour followed by several exclusive experiences:
- Tutored tasting of ‘new make’ spirit and three mature Aberlour malts
- An opportunity to hand fill and register your very own personalised bottle of cask strength Aberlour (extra charge applies)
- A warehouse visit for an exclusive sampling, straight from the cask
We aim to be back in Dufftown by 13:30 where you will be dropped off at St James' Hall for lunch which is included in the price of the tour. One option for you will be to take part in our on-going experiment to find the best single malt to go with Haggis.
